William M. Hines,
Interprint, Inc.

William Hines is President and CEO of Interprint Inc., the North American business, and is managing Director of interprint International, with facilities in Germany, Malaysia, Poland, Italy and soon Russia. Corporate sales offices are also maintained in China, Australia, and Mexico. The company imprints, designs and prints decorative papers for the laminating industry. This product is used in applications such as laminate flooring, countertops, residential and office furniture, and even guitars.

In 1985 after a 17-year career with Mead Specialty Paper Division in Dayton, Ohio and South Lee, Mass., William Hines left Mead and founded Interprint as a sister company of Interprint-Germany. He was the only employee of the new company for two years. The first production machine was installed in 1989. With subsequent expansion, the company now has five production printing machines, a 250,000 square foot facility, and 120 employees in Pittsfield. Interprint, Inc. is considered one of the most successful companies within its industry.
