Victoria White,
eclecTechs

 Victoria White graduated from STCC in 1981 with a degree in Liberal Arts. Today she is a successful business woman. In the interim years, she earned two more degrees, started a career in chemistry, switched careers and founded a computer company, bought another company and now has 2,000 customers spread around the globe. Victoria is the owner of eclecTechs, which she began in 1995 as The Internet Connection. In 1999, she purchased a California-based service company, Valinet, making eclecTechs a fully-integrated one-stop provider offering website design, Internet marketing, and e-commerce. She has developed and taught over 20 Internet courses, and has made presentations to national organizations such as Thomson Financial in New York City and the Brookings Institution in Washington. Victoria also takes an active role in the community, as a Director of Northampton Chamber of Commerce and the Western Mass. Ad club, and a steering committee member of the Local 5 Western New England National Writers Union. Her memberships include the Electronic Frontier Foundation, Computer Professionals for Social Responsibility, and the National Computer Security Association.
