Emanuel “Manny†Class is also receiving the second annual MassMutual Young Entrepreneurial Scholar Award, with $500 which he can use toward his college education or to further his business opportunities.

As a lifelong resident of Springfield, Manny recently graduated this past June from the Roger L. Putnam Vocational & Technical High School, where as an honor student he focused his energies on the Computer Technology program.

Manny, along with several students participating in the Young Entrepreneurial Scholars program at Putnam, founded MJ’s Network while in their senior year of high school. He presently serves as the lead entrepreneur in the venture. Manny’s enthusiastic passion for computers and technology motivated him to launch MJ’s Network, “Where the Connection is Right.†MJ’s provides computer maintenance and repairs, sales of personal computers and networks, as well as installation and support.

Manny is currently enrolled in Springfield Technical Community College’s Computer Systems Engineering Technology program and is growing his business at the Community Foundation of Western Massachusetts Student Incubator at STCC. Upon graduation from STCC, Manny plans to expand his exploration as a career entrepreneur in the technology arena.
