The Maureen Bellucci Salon and Day Spa is well known in the region for its luxurious services, from aromatherapy facials to hot stone massage therapy to hair design, nail care, and Day of Beauty packages. It has won Best of the Valley endorsements in the Valley Advocate Readers’ Poll from 1990 through 2002. The company’s mission is to “make each client feel pampered, special, and cared for.â€Â
A salon owner for 18 years, Bellucci has traveled to Italy, France and England to study hair and fashion design, and has been on the premier design team for the Massachusetts Cosmetology Association. She is a member of the Advisory Board for Springfield Technical Community College’s Cosmetology Department. Through fashion shows, Bellucci has raised over $20,000 to benefit cerebral palsy research. She hosts her own TV show: Maureen Bellucci’s The New You for Beauty, Fashion, and Wellness.
